my bedroom window
feeds me music of child-play
jovial brightness
contrasted by my mind's games
left starved for sweet tunes

serene melody
notes drift, and cascade like silk
sweeping my mind clean
 it's an old friend, remembered
music brings bliss and true love

haunting discomfort
a realm with detached flavor
nights dreams echo life
a pesky thorn that needs ease
my dream's map guides me to see

the bar throbs with buzz
air think with banter, & roar
found comrades convene
i grasp at each gold moment
not knowing when is the next

off white ceiling paint
my room dimmed with candle light
my life's weight dissolved
i lie with velvet calm waves
until I'm plucked up once more

my legs ache and throb
pavement chirps with each foots fall
such a primal act
reflects life's every aspect
each stride met with love & fight

smoky fog rises
prepared, but feeling calm fear
one breath dissolves me
portal to some mystic realm
mind and the universe merge
